trueVines_ashley.jpg

Ashley Adams is a Birmingham native with deep roots in the West End community, where she was born, raised, and graduated from West End High School. Her nearly two-decade nursing career reflects both her commitment to her hometown and her dedication to holistic patient care.

Ashley's educational journey began at Lawson State Community College, where she earned her Associate of Nursing Science in 2007. She continued at Jacksonville State University, graduating with honors with her Bachelor of Nursing Science, before completing her graduate studies at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 2015.

Throughout her career, Ashley has gained extensive experience across multiple specialties, including medical-surgical nursing, behavioral health, telemedicine, acute care, and long-term care. Since 2016, she has served in advanced practice roles as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, bringing a unique dual expertise to her patients.

As Director of True Vines Health and Wellness, Ashley combines her clinical excellence with her passion for serving the Birmingham community, providing comprehensive care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ashley is deeply family-oriented and the proud mother of her daughter, Ashley M. Adams. She's an avid volleyball fan, cheering on her daughter at games, and enjoys staying active through walking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. When she's not caring for patients, you might find her relaxing with word search games, catching a movie, shopping, traveling or reminiscing of her time as dog mom.
